FluentAssertions.Primitives Namespace / DateTimeAssertions<TAssertions> Class / BeCloseTo Method
The expected time to compare the actual value with.

A formatted phrase as is supported by System.String.Format(System.String,System.Object[]) explaining why the assertion is needed. If the phrase does not start with the word because, it is prepended automatically.

    Asserts that the current System.DateTime is within the specified time from the specified nearbyTime value.
    Syntax

)

    Parameters

    nearbyTime
    The expected time to compare the actual value with.
    precision
    The maximum amount of time which the two values may differ.
    because
    A formatted phrase as is supported by System.String.Format(System.String,System.Object[]) explaining why the assertion is needed. If the phrase does not start with the word because, it is prepended automatically.
    becauseArgs
    Zero or more objects to format using the placeholders in because.
    Exceptions

    System.ArgumentOutOfRangeExceptionprecision is negative.
    Remarks
    Use this assertion when, for example the database truncates datetimes to nearest 20ms. If you want to assert to the exact datetime, use Be(DateTime,String,Object[]).
